Preparing for Preschool
We believe it is important for children to be happy and settled in their learning environment. Children learn through play.
Each day your preschooler will need:

A hat – sun protection. A bucket, wide brim or legionnaires style hat offers the best protection. Caps and visors are not considered suitable protection.

If you child has a comforter which will make them feel more at ease they are welcome to bring it to preschool.
![please name label everything that comes to preschool please name label everything that comes to preschool](https://kcps.org.au/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/icons-what-to-bring_09.png)
Please label everything you send so it can be returned if it is misplaced. This can help to reduce confusion and distress for children as they are settling in.
![please leave fragile items at home please leave fragile items at home](https://kcps.org.au/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/icons-what-to-bring_07.png)
It is best to keep fragile, very precious or expensive items at home. With 40 children at preschool each day and a large space it is easy for items to be lost or broken.
